Anyone is eligible to use the facilities offered at the libraries within the Greve Council area.

Borrowing books and other materials is free of charge, and there are no limits to the number of materials you can borrow at any given time. However, we do require that new users have a CPR or social security number and card, in order to obtain access to all of our library materials.

If this is not the case, we can issue a temporary library card and limit loan of our materials to printed materials only. Full access can be obtained when a CPR has been allocated and a social security card has been issued.

When visiting the library for the first time, you can register as a user by producing up-to-date ID. If you are over the age of 16, your yellow social security card can be used as your library card, and your CPR or social security number will be your user number.

Persons under the age of 16 will receive a special library card, when they have presented us with a registration form, filled out and signed by their parents or wards. Please remember that your library card is strictly personal, and should be taken with you when visiting the library.
